After making your reservation you will receive our confirmation email – this will include your reservation details, plus our room information & Covid-19 guidance.
During this period we will not be carrying out room servicing, however new towels, toiletries and cleaning products can be requested from our team and will be dropped off outside your room.
We are closed on Mondays. On Sundays we serve food 12 – 4 only, however lunch and dinner service will be running on all other days but pre booking is essential.
If you’ve paid for your bill on arrival then you can just leave at the checkout time. If you haven’t paid your bill then simply pop down to the bar in the morning and you will be able to settle your account and leave your key with us. If you would prefer a non-contact check out please call us and we can send you a link for payment to your email address. When you leave, simply put your key in the outside of your door lock and we’ll know you have gone. That way contact is limited.
Our staff will maintain social distancing from guests when checking in. All payments will be charged to your card registered on our booking system and cash ideally should be avoided. On arrival, you will be temperature checked with our no touch infrared forehead thermometer, provided with your disinfected room key and shown to your accommodation. The staff member doing this will be wearing a mask/visor. We recommend guests wearing masks in communal accommodation hallways, however this is optional.
Track and trace
We will require the name, address and numbers of all guests staying with us to assist NHS Track and Trace. This will either be collected prior to your arrival or upon check in.
All guest information will be provided via email and be available on our website. This includes helpful numbers and contacts, local tourism information, appliance and heating instructions.
Air the property
We request that during your stay you air the property you are staying in and to leave windows open when you vacate the property on check out. If possible, we request that you strip the beds before you leave to reduce the risk to our housekeeping staff.
We have invested in a professional fogger machine which sprays disinfectant in a fine mist that covers surfaces. This government recommended procedure disinfects and sanitizes against the Covid–19 virus. These measures will be common practice alongside our normal high standard of cleaning and hygiene. Nevertheless, please feel free to bring your own bedding, pillows should you wish to do so.
All touch points located in communal areas will be disinfected frequently during your stay and those touch points in rooms will be thoroughly disinfected after each guest leaves.
If a guest arrives at our property with Covid-19 symptoms they will be advised to return home (where possible) or self-isolate in accordance with current guidance. If you develop symptoms whilst staying at our property you must declare this immediately so that we can inform you of the next steps.
Mid Stay Cleans
During the Covid-19 period, there will be no mid stay cleans except for in exceptional circumstances.
Soft furnishings & furniture
Throughout our pub, restaurant and rooms most soft furnishings have been removed, as have many high use items that could be touch points. Some rooms may look different to photographs as some pieces have been removed as they are not easily disinfect-able, this is for your safety. However we’ve tried to ensure it still feels cosy and welcoming for you.
